Ready? Go! I’m J.T. Trollman, a brand consultant and designer in San Francisco, California. This year has found me doing work in branding and UX/UI design for great clients like IDEO LLC and Nokia Siemens Networks, and I also act as Creative Director for a small Web start-up called B4UGO. If I'm lucky, I even find the time to run my own projects in identity, print and Web design. Previously I filled the Account Manager shoes for a fast-growing content agency called Future Plus, and I’ve worked in the creative industry for over seven years now focusing on a breadth of ground work — photographer, writer, editor, designer, project manager — before ending up here. In short: I’m very “Type A.”
I’m a product of a West Coast upbringing and East Coast education, with a bit of international travel and mystery in between. After snatching a dual major in Professional Writing and Communication Design (curse you, elusive Photo minor), I began working for Future Plus’ aptly-named parent company, UK-based Future plc, before moving to their agency division in 2007. That brand experience — coupled with my background in journalism — has allowed me a great deal of insight into how products and companies should approach their audiences.

This site was made through a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, hard coding in Dreamweaver, some jQuery, and the ExpressionEngine CMS. It's all validated as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.1.
